I will be composing an intellectual autobiography, period-by-period of my career, with a guide to my publications, and posting the installments here.
The first installment starts with grad school, “Reflections on My Harvard Experience, 1972-1977.” It includes a personal account of my intellectual trajectory during that period, recollections and anecdotes of some of my most memorable professors, and includes, as an appendix, a chapter-by-chapter guide to my thesis (with links), written under Kenneth Arrow. This installment (24 pages) has been completed and is posted below.
Subsequent installments will recall my experiences and writings at UMass/Amherst, University of Toronto, Boston University, and University of Arkansas, as well as my 7-year stint of public service for Massachusetts Governors Cellucci, Swift, and Romney.
